Aleria on the hard

Our boat was hauled out at Astilleros Lagos in Bouzas near Vigo, Spain yesterday. The boatyard is legendary and has been hauling and launching vessels using a complex system of custom built cradles on a rail for almost a century. We were not present when they hauled her but it looks like they had good weather and plenty of water.

The Lagos Brothers run the boatyard started by their grandfather and made legendary by their father. Alberto managed Aleria over last winter in Punta Lagoa on the other side of Vigo. This year, there's a long list of projects for the expert craftsmen at Lagos to undertake on our behalf. We feel confident that we've left her in the right hands. Trust is a mighty principle.
